If your just trying to spend some money you could install an oil cooler, which would obviously be beneficial. Wether or not it would be necessary for your setup, I have no idea... Good Luck!

The only addition to my oil system I am doing is replacing my stock oil pump gear with a Prodrive gear.

When people say their oil pumps took a ****, is it the actual pump, or is it just the gear that cracks? So just a prodrive gear is good enough for an oil pump woth 70k miles?

It is the gear that shatters as opposed to the housing.
If you rebuild with a new OEM oil pump+gear you'll be all set. If you don't use a harmonic balancer (like using a solid crank pulley) you are asking for trouble.
