what is a nice Quiet 3" in/out straight through muffler?
I am looking to replace the 40 series flowmaster on my turbo car, I guess, although I have zero real evidence to say I should. I'm not going to get into that though, I already made another post about that, and I'm over it..
Basically, I am looking for a good quality muffler that will be quiet without compromising power (straight through design) on my 3" exhaust with no cat or resonator. I don't want the tip much bigger than 3", if at all.
Any recommendations/suggestions? Thanks for any help..
p.s. yes, I have searched, but I only found mufflers with huge annoying tips..and that weird aeroturbine unit

for example, my 1.6 sohc is loud as crap with two resonators and a straight through muffler, however my friends 1.8 ls is pretty quiet with only one resonator and muffler (both kteller cat backs)

I have 3" all the way back with a 18" long summit resonator in the middle. It sounds great imo, I also think it is quieter than my Apexi dunk was. You cant go wrong with a $26 resonator PS- The 3" straight pipe coming out the back looks great
