what is min octane in turbo gsr
When i got my gsr it had a full tank i don't know what octane it is ,my car is spitting & sputting when it's boosting if it had 87oct could this cause it to do that

yes, that could cause it...you wanna put at least 91 octane in it since its boosted...did you just buy it already boosted?...what fuel management is it on?

No when i got the car it was not boosted but i just drove it once and put the turbo on. It run good but had a full tank of gas. I'm using uberdata basemap not tuned yet 450cc injectors, going to change plugs today (ngk bkr7e)and try that.If it is 87 oct will it hurt it

on a basemap you may just be sputtering and sheit from not being tuned. I wouldn't go blaming gas yet until the car is tuned.
I would just drain the gas and run some new stuff if your not sure what octane it is. or maybe for this take use some octane booster.
Even GSR stock says use premium gas on the gauge cluster.

Yes, that is bad. If you're only running 87, don't boost until you put some better gas in it. Lower octane fuel can cause detonation which can break ringlands, rods, etc..

GSR's should run on premium anyway, I'm pretty sure it says that in the manual and on the gauge cluster...

Drain the gas in the tank. Put 93 octane in the tank. Take it to a tuner. Get it tuned. Have fun.
