Default What is the largest t2 flanged turbo? (Supra motor)

I'm halfway done with my 1jz s14 swap. setup is oem Rb twins on customs manifolds, worked head with cams, ecu etc etc.

thing is I have recently acquired a fully built 2jz shortblock. and seeing that I have a well done 1jz head I have decided to just go straight 1.5jz. Im defiantly sticking to twins for the response and and midrange, problem is this..

T2 flanged

These are the turbo's (stock gt2556r from a rb26) I can use them for now, but I would be limited to about 400hp. the turbines are really small and ceramic. as I said, Im not interested in going single turbo. so if you could help me located twins that would work well for even 600hp on a 3 liter in a t2 flange it would be appreciated. TIA

how about the gt3071r. you can get a variety of turbine inlets including t25.

or ATP also has a gt2876r but i think they only offer internal gated t25 inlets

that turbo seems like it would be a bit mismatched anyways.

hopefully The Shodan will chime in

THe GT28RS's can do around 350whp EACH, and the GT2871R's can do over 400whp each. A 'T28' is technically a T25 with a larger T3 compressor, and a T25 is basicly a larger T2-flanged turbine.

You'd probably want nothing larger than GT28R's for the street, otherwise spool time is going to suffer. To give you an idea, a 1.6L honda (~half your 3.0L) spools just about right with a GT28RS. You will be limited by pump gas if you went with twin GT28R's with the small turbine housing. If you want to be a baller, go with the -RS or -71R variety.

I developed a T2 flanged 60-1 that could work, but I'd have to check to see if I still have them available. Also the GT2540R that uses a GT40(GT35R,SC61 take your pick of names) compressor wheel for it.

Why not build new manifolds for some bigger t3 based twins? Looks like you'll run into clearence issues using those manifolds with larger turbos anyway.

I already paid for my manifolds and its only 3 liters t3 based twins of any kind short of maybe t3 super 60's with .48 turbines. will not give any kind of throttle response.
