What Kinda Turbo Should I Get for My Hybrid...plz look and lemme know!!!!
What's going on????
Well...I'm in the middle of gettin my project car situated...but I have one dillema...~What kinda turbo kit should I put on the car????~
Here is my set-up for the most part...
~'92 Civic HB~
Hybrid B20z engine
B16b head
B16b intake manifold
B18c5 throttle body
Probe racing ultra light rods
Custom 84.5mm probe racing pistons
GSR tranny w/ LS 5th
Hondadata ECU
F6DP Sparkplugs
ITR oil pan
ARP Head Studs...
after I get it all up I'll do the usual bolt on mods and ****...
But what turbo do you guys / gals suggest I get? What kinda power are we talking about? How much...
BTW...this is just gonna be a toy, NOT my daily driver...it will be used for racing and personal pleasure!!!!

max out a revhard stage 3
or go with a custom turbo setup
60-1 turbo
just for the kits upwards to 3200+
400-500 hp
or go with a custom turbo setup

a 60-1 turbo???? what's that?
how much is the rev-hard turbo? what kinda hp does it push out? will I have to do a custom kit to make it fit the B20z? same with the 60-1 turbo?

I think it would be best if you did this. Gave us some variables. Like, desired horsepower and 1/4 mile times.
Also with those rods, you might wanna find out how much HP they are good for. I myself never heard of Probe Racing rods. Apparently you also had the block resleeved. Might wanna give us a tad bit more on the setup.
I dont think a 60-1 will be a good turbo. They are only good for about 15lbs. or so then it starts to blow hot air. Really depnds on how bullit-proff your bottom end is.
Then ofcourse theres fuel management. You say you have Hondata, so you will have to send away for a Boost upgrade and probably a 3bar map sensor upgrade as well. Along with bigger injectors, unless ofcourse you have appropriately sized injectors now--you never stated what size you have now.
Umm, think thats it for now. Someone else have anything to add?
*EDIT* You never stated what kind of compression either. Thats an important factor in how much boost you can run, dependant on tuning.
