If you call Zex, they can get the right one. They have two bottle designs, internal thread and external thread. I think the tube and fitting cost me like $35 or so...directly from Zex.

If you are gunna be going to the track, it depends on how strict the tech inspectors are. & its a safety precaution. Safety first

you only need a blown down tube if your bottle is in teh same compartment as the driver. I used an earls fitting and some braided line.

Theyre not strict at all. But what why do they have the restrictions? What kinda of safety does it provide? The only way it comes into use is if the bottle pressure becomes too high right? What situations can cause that?

Re: (tegunderpressure)
You'll still want a bottle heater to give you consistent temperatures/pressures. If you don't have that then all of your tuning is useless. The blowdown tube is attached to a fittig that holds the burst disk. When the pressure gets too high the disk burst, releasing all of the nitrous into the atmosphere. The blowdown tube just directs the nitrous out of the car.

Re: (tegunderpressure)
Tech inspect up here is strict. But usually you can just tell them there is no nitrous in the bottle and you're not going to be running it and they don't care. IMO blowdown isn't needed as long as you remember to turn the heater off. I mean, so what if you take a nitrous hit to the lungs. lol
