Just like the title says, what are you guys using for the turbo? I know honda engines used 5w-30 oil, but what do you recommend for the turbo? Conventional or Syn oil?

i run royal purple 10w-30. Im probably wasting my money but it makes me feel good to say it costs 50$ to change my oil.

So majority are using 10W30. Is it because turbo doesn't like thinner oil?

You are correct. The oil is thinner. I am boosted and only use 5w30.
