what kind of number SHOULD I be making?
I've got a greddy turbo on my b18c1 I am pushing 8lbs on stock internals.
I made the mistake a while back of putting on an Eclipse/Talon side mount intercooler and kept its puny pipes that come off the end tanks to make things simple (these things are tiny, like straw tiny). A few months ago I got it tuned with a hondata and put down only 200 whp with 150 lbs of torque.. I was unsatisfied. So im going to replace it with a front mount when I get some money and possibly get a high flow cat. What kind of improvements should I see?

TD05 greddy turbo running on pump 91 gas... I had them tune it so I can mix 100 octane to get a 93 mix. The only fallback is that I cant go past 7k rpms without a mix. Tis a pain living in california. So do you guys think its the intercooler pipes? Plus it looks like I run a little rich by how fast my pipe blackens.

Didn't you get an air/fuel printout when you had the Hondata tuned?
Anyway, the pipes will be a restriction for sure. 9 psi of air is probably less air than 7 psi with bigger piping. The FMI should help you up the numbers a bit too.
I would expect about 220/170.

Whoa.. that's way low for a B18C1 on 8psi!!! Definatley get a new FMIC or at the very least, have the openings on the side mount modified to accept at least a 2-2.25" opening!

i think that # is actually pretty good considering ur running a stock cat. A better IC should help, along with 2"-2.25" piping. if its tuned on hondata u should be able to get the a/f, without a/f i dont know how they tuned it. pretty tough to do. but nock out that cat its an easy 20hp, maybe more. bigger downpipe wouldnt hurt either.

ok say I do knock out that cat (until I can afford a high flow one ^_~). Will I need a retune?
Thanks for your help guys. This place has been my goldmine.
