i'm not a big dsm guy nor will i be one but one of my cousin has a 90 talon tsi that the front brakes locked up on him and he never fixed it, well two years goes by and the car won't start up. so he's selling a perfectly good car but no one wants to buy it so one of my friends bought his engine. he only wanted the head, block and tranny because he has a tsi too that needed a head. i'm helping him take out the motor and in return he is giving me what ever he doesn't need. so far i have the 450cc injectors w/clips, turbo manifold, down pipe with cut elbow, blow off valve, boost controller, and a turbo. (i'm going back for the intercooler and piping)

my cousin said it was a 4g63 cyclone swap that came in the earlier evo but the intake manifold didn't say cyclone on it but my dsm buddy said it could be a 16g for some reason. well, below is a few pix and tell me what you think, also how much do you think it's worth? (no i'm not selling it.............. yet.)

turbo says TD05H, no shaft play or oil leaks, the oil seen is leaks from the valve cover gasket. the compressor turbine blades is a little f-ed up but everything looks fine.

with a chewed up compressor wheel its not worth much

yeah something got too close to it. no shaft play though, i might throw this in my next project car.
