what internals for 15 psi ls motor
ok I am currently running 7 psi on a stock ls motor in a 91 teg with 450 cc injectors and an apexi fmu. i have a spare ls motor i would like to build to handle about 13 to 15 psi. I am looking for suggestions on what pistons and rods to use. and what i should do to the head if anything. i would like the compression ratio to be 9:1 and i plan to use a program like crome or uberdata for tuning. Any suggestions would be of help or if you dont like any of my ideas please let me know. Thanks

2nd for stock block!!! Psi is reletive measurement. 15psi from a T25 and a T66 are definetly 2 different things. CFM flow, power output and the safety of the tune all play a huge part... The tune is everything. Im running 15psi on my stock block B20 daily driven. Turboedit, 450s VR4 fuel pump, tuned by myself....
Crank up the boost with good fuel management and delivery and you'll be good to go with a solid tune....
good luck

EDIT: 3rd vote for the stock block... I got beat to it lol.

first thing is throw away that fmu and get tuned with crome or urbadata(youll be way better off) then crank up the boost 15psi isnt alot for an ls block( unless its a HUGE *** TURBO) but its its small-mild turbo 15psi is good for dd on an ls block good luck

wow i did not know i could use stock internals with that high boost. maybe ill save that spare ls motor to build for the next boost upgrade. ill just look into using uberdata or turboedit. thanks for the help.

13-15psi....if thats all you want..STOCK BLOCK!!!!!!!!!!!! I ran 16psi on my b16 daily and that was a stock block with higher compression.....and the only reason if blew was because of the tune (tuner put timing at 17 degrees) so i cracked some ringlands..........and on my ls block...Scat rods, Mahle 9:1 comp pistons....headstuds etc....i plan to run like 14 daily and like 22 on "special occasions"
