I am currently setting up my kit with a 14b turbo and was just getting a idea on what people have done in the 1/4 and what HP they gained? I have a 93 hatch cx fully gutted with only 2 seats and my dash it weighs 2088lbs without me and almost 3/4 tank of gas. I have a b18 with intake, dual exhuast, and ACT clutch. I ran a 14.5 with 2.4 60 ft times.

That's my setup and i will pretty much have a basic 14b setup with just the basics no hondata. thanks

on slicks pushing 15 psi, assuming you can drive, i would say HIGH 12's, low 13's


i got a t25 on a y8 in my cx and will keep upping the boost until i hit 12.99. i'll need atleast 15psi, maybe 17. and this is on slicks, traction bars, full suspenison setup. i WILL hit 12's!!! i had a 14b on it, but took it off cause of a cracked turbine housing. nice lil turbo's though

well assuming you ll have slicks,which is a must with this small turbo on a b series, you should be able to run 13.2-13.6 around 15-16psi with it,assuming you have all the correspoding mods to go with it,without slicks look into high 13s-low 14s.btw 15-16psi on this turbo is basically the same as 10-11psi on a t3/t4 turbo which is the smallest turbo i would run on a Bseries motor ,since the 14b doesnt do much after 6rpm and after 7000rpm it just dies,so dont expect the world out of it,but do look forward to having one of the best daily driver turbo out there.

this was just Intake and exhuast and 16" parada spec 2

So your saying that with the 14b turbo i can run 15-16psi and it will equal 10-11psi on a t3/t4? How is that? I never heard that before. let me know. And I had a NX kit last year with my parada tires and ran 13.5 on a 75 shot. So with the turbo setup I should be around high 13's low 14's?? I could rip my exhuast off and my dash and run low 14's. Just my opinion. I was thinking I should run around 13.3-13.8 or around there.

yes its true you will have to run much more boost with that 14b to get the same amount of power you would get with less boost on a bigger t3/t4 turbo.

Ok i get what the guy said now, I was thinking it was safe to run 14-15psi on my stock motor with a 14b and safe to run 10-11psi on a t3/t4.

What do most people run on a 14b with stock internals or what PSI on stock internals should I say?

that would be true also because it doesn't really matter how much boost you run as much as how much hp you making which affects reliability.
