Default what a headache! *pics

ok...first. i got a ssautochrome t3/t4 turbo without knowing exactly. so i sold it and got a sc61. the sc61 turned out to have tons of shaft play so lucky the guy on ht was willing to refund me, which i've only gotten half so far.

but anyways. i now have a garrett t3/t4 and a garrett t3. the t3 would've worked fine, the the oil feed threading on the turbo wasn't all messed up. i have to get it retapped. to what? i don't know! the t3/t4 is perfect. no play what so ever. best one i got so far. oil fittings fit fine. but! the 5 bolt pattern on it is not standard. so it didn't match my downpipe that was already made by crp. two bolts line up only. here are some pics:

i was told that maybe the turbo is off a benz and the 5bolt is different. anyone know where i can maybe get the flange locally? i think it'd be easier to change the flange on the downpipe than getting a new turbo.

i didn't try to line things up until yesterday when i was going to install. what a headache! another thing was that for my charge pipes, the bov takes the spot of my resiovor tank. pics:

should i just get a longer hose and relocate the bottle? or should i cut the piping so that it'll somewhat kind of fit. i'm thinking if i cut the piping, the bov and the bottle will be sitting exactly next to each other or lean against each other. but i have no where to relate the bottle too. right now it's just hanging with zip ties in front of the radiator. ghetto, but it's working.

regardless, i think i need to cut the piping because my bumper lenses are pushing against the u bends. can't even get the bumper on right. i need to push the piping in more and away from the bumper. i still have to cut off all that black plastic grill stuff on the bumper cause the piping pushes on that too. what a PAIN! i cut this one side and it seems to fit ok just looks dirty. gotta clean it up and then do the other side. pics:

lesson to be learned, line it all up before install day. and too much custom isn't good? lol

just had to vent....it's been a long 2 months of waiting....

Yep a whole lotta fun...Even when you buy a prefab "bolt on" kit you will still have a few issues. but its worth the wait.

Yeah, cutting the bumper is lame. Easiest way I found was using a *new* razor/utility knife. It does a great job as long as you are patient with it. As for the turn sigs, I did my owm IC piping and the fit was meh, i took out the whole bracket that the signal slides into so I need to rig something to hold it up besides the screw...lol GL

it's not the sc61, i got refunded for it. i'm running a mercedes t3/t4 i guess. i just found that out! but i have an extra t3, i was wondering if i could just use the turbine side of the t3? or i need to find out where i can get a mercedes t3 flange? do you have one project dc2?

i don't have the ssautochrome manifold. i sold it. i have a crp extended log manifold. i have a downpipe made, i just need the flange.

ask jason (CRP) if he has a mercedes flange or have him get one and redo your downpipe. also on your feed line question, you could always get a 2bolt flange for the feed line if you didnt wanna retap it.
