13.7@97 is quick but its not an accurate speed rating for a car. And what I mean by that is if you get a car that is actually trapping high enough to run a 13.7 your gonna get your *** handed to you. 97 is good enough for mid-high 14's on the street

IM looking to get the car to trap around 100 that even with a bad launch it will still do low 14's

ok first off I was just asking how fast it should be, thats all. im not trying to hate Im just explaining that good times a track with Low traps speeds doesn't make your car fast. It means you got a good launch. FOR EXAMPLE. My 96Hatch b16w/drag kit. I ran a 13.8 also but at 107mph wich translates into me having a HORRIBLE launch and the car actually being alot faster then that. Instead of running a 13.2 @99 with some insane launch you dig me? Thats why these guys with AWD get these great times but shitty trap speeds.

thank you. lol I may sell the turbo setup if anyones intersted. Not fast enough for me to bother putting it on the car, and to get it as fast as I want the car isn't gonna be reliable. So if anyone is interested in a homemadeturbo kit holler

Depends how much you boost. honda tuning did the same kit with hondata and is making 211whp or something @ 12 psi.

Heh, don't blame reliability on the fact that it's a "JY" turbo. Reliability depends on the guy in the mirror.

Trapping at over 100 is not a big deal. My $950 home made T25 kit is good enough to trap my (much heavier, w/ full interior) EK hatch @ 101 mph @ 7psi. It's also reliable enough to get my butt to work every single day for the last year and a half. BTW, I have a 20 mile commute. I'm luvin it...

Yo definitely do it bro. Your car is an OBD0, tune it with turboedit, and you will be fine. Boosting a ridiculous amount of pounds is one thing for reliability, but being within the limits, and having your **** tuned is what counts

I was a b series fanatic, now im going z6 turbocharged, internally stock w/ Uberdata, and I believe it is worth it.
