Default What exactly is needed to put an ls block in my si?

I am goin to be boosting my si soon and would like to buy a spare ls block that i would have sleeved, etc. I was wondering what needed to be done to my b16 head or the ls block to make them work together. Could this be done during resleeving etc from golden eagle? Would it be as reliable as my b16 to 8k rpm? if not what needs to be done to make it safe? Thanks in advance

That is an LS/Vtec (LSVT) conversion. You will need some work done to the head (close the oil passage) and have the block 'tapped' for an oil line to supply the vtec head with oil (as the LS does not supply oil to the head the way a vtec one does. (No work is actually done to the block, but you will need to swap your B16 pistons to the LS block if you want to make any kind of power. This conversion is much more involved that the piddly nothing of info that I listed here. It is costly and intensive.. you will neeed to swap the vtec water and oil pumps, get the LS head gasket... dude, don't bother if you are sleeving the B16 block for boost. It is very involved and somewhat costly to have done. I don't recommend you do it yourself.
