Is it leaking where the pan meets the block? If so, the pan may be warped. I put a little Honda-Bond in all four corners, and every few inches on the sides and am leak-free

Does it leak instantly or only after a while? Blowby? Do you over fill your oil?

I have an aftermarket pan from Canton, not really for a D series, but i kept trying to seal it up with silicone.... kept leaking, ended up using a stock gasket, and tighteded that sucker down.

If yours is all stock, assuming that its level, make sure you start from the middle and go out evenly, i think they recommend criss crossing. Also, they don't need to be super tight, more uniform then anything.

You could also explain a little more about your leak and setup.

I had a friend who had this problem, his turned out to be a warped pan i believe. But his was wierd, it would like blow the gasket out, like there was alot of pressure in there.

are you running a catchcan? if no that could be your issue....

excess crankcase pressure is blowing the pan seal
