What do you think of this Turbo Set-Up
What do you think of this turbo set-up to put down 300whp daily driver on a jdm itr?
im going to be ordering the manifold/downpipe next week!!
sc50 turbo: trying to find prices
CCA Intercooler: $240
hondata boost upgrade: trying to find price
450cc injectors: $50
manifold- comes with kit, total is $550 for this and below HT sponsor
2.5 AC downpipe- comes with kit
dumptube- comes with kit
stud kit- comes with kit
flex pipe- comes with kit
o2 bung 3-4 week wait- comes with kit
greddy type S bov- $150
38-40mm tial wastegate- $100
greddy turbo timer- $50
greddy prefect b II boost controller- $250
golen eagle vacumm box- $33 HMT sponsor
oil return kit- $75 HMT
intercooler piping: probably gonna have to do custom
filter: just a reg filter $15
boost guage: $20 autometer+ebay
air/fuel guage: $20 autometer+ebay
oil pressure guage: $20 autometer+ebay
was trying to get everything under $2000 but with buying brand new manifold/intercooler/turbo will probably cost around $2500 after all said and done
already have hondata but need boost option, already have upgraded fuel pump, gonna order the manifold/downpipe kit and my intercooler next week, any-1 see anywhere that i can save money by buying parts elsewhere? I might not get the electronic boost controller and just run off of the wastegate spring, that would save me $250, most the prices are ebay prices unless noted otherwise

looks like u got alot of really good prices...just make sure u get good parts cause the last thing u want is to put the kit on and then have something break.. for 300whp that can proly be done, im not the best turbo guy but make sure u get good tuning

Me and Platinum on here are running sc50 turbos on out set-up's. 300whp is the goal so that turbo should work. Look into a .63 a/r.

Also i'd get 550cc injectors instead of dsm 450's cause they will be close to maxing out.

you really dont want to max injectors out, you want them running at around 85% max, then you should upgrade when you want to go farther
