Default What do you guys think? Greddy turboed SI #'s...

Hey guys! Went to the dyno over the weekend and dynoed the car just to see where it was at. I got 224.1 hp and 176.3 ft lbs for torque at 10 psi. It's a 00 Si with the Greddy kit, type 24 i/c with JE 9.1 pistons, eagle rods and GSR cams. everything else on the car is stock, even the exhaust it still stock. Do you guys think this is what I should expect out of the setup I have?

It's still running the blue box too. I have a e-manage but I'm pondering if I should sell it and run a Hondata. I put the car off for awhile because I got into paintball, but the money that I was putting into that sport was getting kinda crazy so instaed of wasting hundreds of dollar on paintball, I thought I should at least get back to the car and finish it. Best time I got out on it was 14.2 @ 101, though I felt it should've done high 13's. What do you guys think?

Good numbers IMO... you should be running 13s without a doubt, look at that trap speed. Also you should get rid of that blue box.. its not a good idea to push that to 10 psi... you should get a standalone like hondata or aem ems, and i would bet when tuned properly you could see numbers as high as 250-270whp with 200+ ft/lbs

Thanks man! Yeah I've got the e-manage and I'm wondering if I should use that or go with a Hondata or aem ems. The e-manage I got was from the guy that I bought the motor for the car and he made 250-274 hp with the e-manage on the same turbo kit except he had 440's a new cat converter and the greddy evo. That 14.2 run was on the nitto 450's with stock tire pressure also.

Get a 3" downpipe and 3" exhaust from kteller.com and let it breath, you'll pick up a lot from that.

im runnin a b16a with the greddy kit and using the emanage and i am happy with what the emanage has been able to do. A standalone is probably better but if you have the ignition and injector harnesses and the support tool for the emanage, as far as piggybacks go it is the closest to a standalone you can get. Give your emanage a try and get it tuned and so something about that restrictive exhaust and you will be able to pump out higher numbers for sure.

Haven't really taken the time to look at the e-manage yet but the guy did say that it comes with all the wires and harness needed except the one that the tuner uses to tune the system. I never got a installation manual so I haven't installed it yet, and I'll have to go to Texas for tuning.

actually decent numbers, you need to open up your exhaust more, and you can push more boost with decent fuel management. I have an exhaust and s200b system for sale, see my sig. if interested. But pretty good numbers for the greddy kit.

if you open up your exhaust be sure to get bigger injectors.

the 310cc will max out at around 6k rpms at 8psi.

Don't believe me, then talk with FalconGSR.

ditch that emanage and get AEM or Uberdata.
