What do you guys think about this turbo kit?
Well like the title says. Judging by the pictures, what's your opinion? This is for the 7th gen civic. It made 185whp@5psi
Here's a link to the company website with more info.

no she is hiden under the pipe, ,you can actually see the vacuum source going to it.. this kit look nice but a bit pricey since you don't have any fuel management on it. No timing device either... look good quality only the intercooler seem's a bit cheapos... anyway I like the manifold and the blower.

Yeah the main complaint about the kit is the intercooler and lack of fuel management. The owner of the car has put over 8,000 miles on the kit and so far no problems engine and overheating wise. Its difficult to control fuel due to the returnless fuel system of the d17, so far the only company to have a reliable way to control fuel is stafford fab. Supposedly the makers of the kit are trying to get hondata to come up with a chip to include in their kit.

Building your own turbo kit is easy and costs next to nothing when compared to the price of pre fab kits. There isn't a kit out there that comes with good fuel management so after you buy the kit you will have to spend more money on your fuel needs. I mean $3,000 is just rediculous... I could build my motor, buy hondata, and piece together a turbo kit with that much money. That kit does look nice though so I will give you that...

A properly built motor, Hondata, and a turbo setup with 3Gs? Don't think so ...
When the Drag Gen 3 and Revhard Stage 2 Kits came out like 4-5 years ago, they ran for around 3Gs so that kit is fairly priced

Re: (boosted_dc2)
Uh oh tinker, someones on to your style! lol.
I notice they have a high quality bosche blow off valve, anyone need one I have two of them, $10 each!
Also, the manifold looks like it uses piping and a collector from a hedman header weld up kit, that stuff is 18ga and isn't too strong, i'd be worried about it holding 10-20lbs at that distance from the head.
