what do i need to know to build a custom turbo?
hey, can someone give me a nice parts list and maybe some instructions to do this? i wanna know all the little things, and its gonna go on an integra gsr..thanks. its hard t ofind info on this and any webpages or advice i can hear from you guys would be greatly appreciated

What you need to do is spend a lot of time in here. Other than that, I will let some newbie waste his time explaining everything that is needed to go turbo.
The key is research. Dont go cheap. Tune, tune, tune. Listen and take advise well. Whatever you think you know now, throw it out the window cause the people in the hondatech F/I forum are the most knowledgable turbo honda guys on the web.

yea, i just started reading a lot here. i know you need the turbo and manifold and piping and all that, but what about like oil and vacuum lines? what else? anyone ever write out a nice big parts list? how about all those numbers..like .63 .58 al lthat stuff..what does it all mean?

ABOUT THOSE NUMBERS:
you are not being too specific, but I think you are talking about turbo tirms, a/r, stages, sizes. It all has to do with the size, flow and efficency of the turbo. Go get Maxium Boost by Corkey Bell. It will help.
ABOUT THE PARTS LIST:
You are going to need (at the very least) manifold, turbo, wastegate (if you don't get a turbo with an internal wastegate), BOV (Blow Off Valve), Intercooler, Intercooler (charge) pipes, oil lines and vaccum lines. You are also going to have to do something about getting more fuel to the engine. If you are going custom you may as well get a hondata, larger injectors, larger intank. The kits come with an inline pump, FMU setup. That should get you started.
