what differences would be seen with a BW ETT t3t4 50 trim vs. a garrett t3t4 50 trim? TURBO GURUS HE
also how would the .48 and .63 turbine sides avilable from garrett compare to the .55 and .70 from Bullseye?
if one was to compare these 2 what differences would be seen?
the price for the BW is not on bullseye's site anyone know how much they are and what all trims or stg wheels are available from them
would the .55 be equal to the .48 and the .70 equal to the .63 or what how would that work?
would the BW spool better?
and flow more at higher boost levels compared to the garrett versions like the s200 and s300 series do vs the garrett GT series turbos
i've not seen much on these from BW and im probably going to have to replace my .48 50 trim that is from ITS with a 360 thrust bearing
also what would it cost to get my 50 trim rebuilt and change the hotside to a .63?
how much to do what is stated above and make it DBB?
where to get rebuilds done? cheap and good if that exists

Correct me if Im wrong guys, but I dont think BW offers the standard T3/T04B in ETT. Just the S series.

Whew* that's a lot. Slow down. You cannot reliably merge the 2 companies's hardware components.

I do the rebuilds for them, but in terms of comparison, the housings use the same math as any other housing, that doesn't change. it is the volute size that is different b/w the 2 companies. There are a lot of threads that we've talked about for several months about how the 2 compare in different aspects. No one person will be willing to explain ALL of the differences because it can't be done online. You've seen compressor maps, flow charts and the way people use the applications on different engines. i'm just saying you need to seriously narrow down what application for which engine. I understand that being VW you're going to have a bit of difficulty of choosing which one is right for you, but take a SERIOUS look around on the BW threads not only here but on DSMTUNERS.com which has even more applications and comparisons. starting a thread about it, unfortunately isn't going to help you much w/ your decision. Nothing that we've already talked about via PM regarding your best options.
