Default What crank should I use

Hey guys. I'm about to fully build a lsvtec. And I have a choice of using a stock crank or a golden eagle knife edge. I'm putting eagle sleeves, eagle rods, JE piston. Please tell me what y'all think the best choice is.

I'm pretty sure everyone is gonna agree and say stick with a OEM ls crank.

the oem crank is factory balanced and is probably stronger.
you an knive edge a oem crank. you dont want to use some aftermarket crank

Like so many people, you made the mistake of asking AFTER you already purchased.

is it an oem knife edged by golden eagle or is it an eagle brand crank? golden eagle doesn't make cranks.

I would stick with an OEM crank. I have never seen an OEM B series crank fail ,not saying it has not happened but they can handle 800+HP no problem when balanced. Knife edging is not necessary either, boosted motors like the inertia, also the reason why a stock flywheel is generally a better choice when boosting. It all depends on the driving and goals for the car.
