To get all five you would have to cut out a piece of the dp that you can't get the bolt into and out the downpipe on that bolt then bolt that one down with the others. If that makes since. I'll post pics of mine and what I'm talking about.

we've both got our benefits.. hehe..
but mine can be taken off in about a fraction of the time urs can... i've gone ur route b4.. and man it was a pain to take off the DP.. that's why i opted to do my new one w/ a vband..

What does the V-band style look like?
BTW, that dp looks nice. So it seals fine with 4 out of 5 bolts? I would assume that's a yes.

Don't those bolts go thru the housing itself?
ie, no bolt = exhaust leak thru the hole?

My POS DP has only 4 bolts and the muffler shop welded that hole to the DP so it was covered.
If you can make one for a reasonable price let me know cause I need one and I don't have A/C, but this is for my CRX(that is the only catch)
Halla back.

im gonna straighten it out n check it. im sitll pretty positive itll work. if anything youll have to put a small dimple into it. and 4 outta 5 selas just fine. a lot of peopel just use 4 outta 5 cuz that last one is impossible to get to .

Would you be able to get all five bolts on a 3" dp if the hot side was on the passenger side? The bend wouldn't be as sharp. I have a 2.5" flared to a 3 inch dp with revhard mani and the compressor on the driver's side.

if i use a flare right off the flange i can. it wont be under this topic " ac compatible" however. once i use that flare its gonna take up all the space imma need.
