where is it bogging, off the line, when you mash it, while you're at WOT?

hmm, I dont have that VTEC problem. hehe. I think alot of it has to do with MAP sensor. those check valves usually dont work so well, they cant react fast enough sometimes, same with the missing link. I think it might be all about an electronic solution. Hopefully I"ll be getting my hands on one soon.

I have that problem if I dont let my fuel pump prime for a second or so before I start it up. I wouldnt worry about it. Any car that's aftermarket turbo isnt going to run exactly like a stock car.

i ran the same set up with my integra......i pulled the injectors and the mf2 and switched to an inline fuel pump and
the vortech fmu......it worked wonders ....no more bogging.....also u should look into getting the missing link billet
check valve for your map sensor.....

I have the same problem. It feels like it almost runs out of steam when VTEC kicks in (6000 rpm's +).

sagaprelude,

Think long and hard before you just ditch your mf2. Take a minute to look at all the posts of guys with turbo H22s w/ FMUs. They cannot get them tuned right at all. You CAN adjust the mf2 ya know.

I agree, MF2 is far better than FMU, there are several ***** inside the MF2 box that you can adjust... FMU has nothing to adjust, you can only replace the disks and it's fixed. MF2 is "smarter" than FMU.

SagaLude I'll give ya my FMU+$$$ for your MF2.....hehe..

i thought it's not that hard to use the MF2, go to the dyno and adjust those little ***** see what it happens... I know a guy has a f-max kit with lowered compression (8.5:1) and putting down 300hp to the wheels.

The MF2 unit can control up to 4 injectors if I remember correctly, its a good unit....

on my car, i have the timing pretty retarded (combat detonation) and it bogs kinda like what u described if i just mash it, it will bog. seemed alot better with the timing a lil advanced but still had detonation so had to retard it. i just live with it oh well the fun of being turbo'd, argh
