what can i rev the b18b to under boost?

what can i rev the b18b to under boost?
just wondering how high i can take a completly stock ls motor up to in rpm? i read that it doesnt make any power past 7000 is this true. what about if i get some head work done?

build the head: dual valve springs, ti retainers, new valves, guides and seals. turbo cams will help out top end alot if you can dial them in...
maybe eventually a gsr water pump and timing belt.

wow this thread went to **** fast. You can rev it to 6800 safely, after that your valve train wears out much faster, and you bottom end can handle close to 8000 rpm. Boost will allow you to make power much higher than normal too
