what cams to use on supercharged b18b
i recently bought a Jackson racing supercharger for my b18b. ( collecting parts and maybe putting it together in the spring time or sooner) im looking to get 10 psi (mvm stepper pulley) i was planning to running water/methanol injection. now my question is what cams do i use for this setup, i currently have crower stage 1 cams. i was told i could use crower stage 2 na cams, but i would think the over lap will be too much, would the crower forced induction cams work? has any one had a supercharged ls

people still supercharging over turbocharging, dont you guys know they make small turbos to give a supercharge like powerband without all that heat and power loss from driving the damn charger it self. IDK it just seems like such a waste of time and money, car would be fater and more reliable especially less prone to detonation without the aid of meth injection with a turbo on it. a 50 trim with a .48 backside would spool very well and 10 psi would make a heck of alot more power than that charger ever could. remember takes power from the engine to produce power . idk thats just my .02
but to answer your question. the stage 1's will suffice. obviously with any application to a certain degree better cams will make more power. IMO stick to stock or stage 1's if your trying to keep that low end power of the S/C LS combo

im sure they would do decently, better than stock for sure but dont look to see huge gains with any cam you put in there with the s/c

i herd of some people using 404's on turbo cars. do you think if i build an na setup and strap the charger on, id make more power that way? or am i better off running 402-t with valve springs and arp rod bolts and stock compression? any one ever had a b18b supercharged setup?

if your dead set on sticking too the SC then go for the 403's at the minimum....404's if you can deal with a poor idle. don't let anyone tell you about overlap and crap like that...its been proven n/a cams work very very well in a f/i application you just need to spend the extra time in tuning (cam timing especially).
also don't cheap out on the valve train also......get the dual valve springs and retainers to go with those cams.
good luck.
