i will be boosting like 9 lbs. I thought about buying the AEM EMS and working with that. Does anyone know the pros and cons of the AEM EMS. No i do not know how to tune very well. I plan on learning and practicing with it. I have a couple months to play with it b4 i even bring the car out so i have some learning and practicing time.

Ok since you are staying at 9lbs then Im assuming you have the proper fuel system in place already right? Which includes a bigger fuel pump etc..

With 9lbs you wont really need any extra parts.

Here is the essentials.

1) Wide Band O2 sensor
2) Engine Management System
3) Time

It might be cheaper and less frustrating if you brought it to a professional tuner to get it tuned.

I would recommend something bigger than 440cc, depending on your hp goals. 440 will be good to about 265-275ish.

440cc would be good enough for him.

why go with 440cc when ur limited to the power you can make. I would go with at least 550 so would be good to mid 300's and not limited to high 200's but like I said it all depends on his goals if they are lower than 300 than yes the 440 would be good.

Well here's the thing, he has 440's already so why spend more money?

Second his goal was to run 9psi on his setup right now, so with 9psi he's under 300whp.

ya but 440's max out around 265-275. if he runs 9psi he may be over that. i run 9 psi on my b18c1 and make 290whp. just my .02im sure he could sell them and pick up a setup of 550's for the same price.

PROs- has a shitload of options
CONs- not very well suited for someone without tuning experience.

For 9 psi.. E-manage is also a good option, and is good to about 15psi or so..

UBERDATA and someone to tune it on a dyno for you you.... will spend a grand total 300-400$ with dyno time and someone to chip your ecu.. or you can give it a try if you can solder...
