What brand turbo kit?
In a few months or so i'm lookin to turbo my 95 LS. I'm gonna be lookin for a kit with moderate HP gains, not necessarily the best, but i would like it to spool up fast. I guess Ben set the benchmark for price so my top prive i'm lookin to spend is $3,200

you're gonna get a lot of responses that aren't going to help you decide...
1. do a search
2. Research
3. decide for yourself...don't ask
4. buy
5. DIY install...come here if you have problems
6. drive without a DP for a week and get initiated into the turbo mafia
7. boost happly ever after

2 peices of advice.
1) Research, research, research. Don't jump into anything.
2) Don't cut any corners. If something thats $100 can save you from blowing up a $3000 engine, buy it.

Drag3--Nicely sized turbo for a b18c1. It has a very small amount of lag, and once you start driving it you won't mind a single bit. The topend, and room to grow with this kit is amazing. You wont need to go to a larger turbo unless you want 400+hp. The downfalls of this kit are the oil return which is just a joke. The fuel solution,12:1 rise rate and a fuel pump, which works but is not the best thing IMO. And the biggest downfall is the turbo manifold, which is somewhat prone to boost creep if you have a high flowing DP and exhaust.
Revhard--Same basic kit as the Drag3. Differences are mainly the manifold being less prone to boost creep, and that many people have been having issues with the pipes fitting without modification. Slightly more expensive than the Drag as well.
Fmax--This kit has the same basic turbo as the two above kits, but uses a totally different method for fuel. It comes with two 440cc injectors and a thingamabobber(cant recall the exact name of it ) to control them. This system keeps you from running the insane fuel pressures of the Drag and Revhard kits, but comes with the possiblity of uneven fuel distribution.
GReddy--Smaller turbo than the other kits. It still can make good power, although you will notice that on higher boost applications the power is not quite there at the higher rpms. This kit comes with a very small DP, which you would be wise to replace. The IC comes seperately. the fuel solution consists of 4 new 310cc injectors and the infamous GReddy Fuel Control Unit. The FCU controls the pulse width of the injectors to allow the car to idle like stock and provide the needed fuel without requiring additional fuel pressure. This is the "best" fuel solution of these kits, although many people have noticed that it is set by GReddy to run very rich in the upper rpm ranges.

Honestly, if I was the moderator on this board the GreddyvsDragvsFmaxvswhatever threads would be locked. This question has been beat to death.

damn man, chill....Maybe we should have a thread at the top that includes links to the most popularly discussed topics, like SHO.com, or a FAQ.
