Default what is the best tranny to use for a trubo car

hey guys i have a b16a2 tranny right now but my geard griend really bad so I looking to get something else now but im not sure if i wanna buy a new tranny or fix mines so if you guys know of anyone that fix good tranny down in south florida let me know thanks

with boost on a DD, i "LOVE" my ls tranny. but thats me tho.

If i could do a hybrid tranny it would be a LSD equiped GSR w/ LS 5th gear

Why doesn't the boost forum have a tech sticky so the commonly repeated questions can be answered without someone screaming "USE THE SEARCH ENGINE" at a poster.


I use a B16 motor in my GSR. For me, if performs much better than the GSR tranny but I am upgrading to an aftermarket gearset soon.

get an ls = better on gas and much cheaper, also better suited for dd

stick with the b16 if you want to go faster.....
