I have an SC-50BB new turbo that i'm getting in next week and am willing to sell it for $850. they go for like $1050+ right now everywhere else. it's too small for my build so I got a GT30R. the sc-50Bb is a good turboi and is simular to a small GT-28r

Instead of the best GT series turbo, why not the best turbo for my car? GT series turbos aren't rebuildable and come with no warranty.
Turbonetics will give you a one year warranty reguardless what happens to it.

Know what you're talking about before you speak. GT series offer a full one year warranty.

Your right, here is the number for Turbonetics 866-758-8726
here is the number for Precision Turbo 219-685-6037
Call them and do some research for me! I just got off the phone with Precision just to make sure I "Knew what I was talking about" and sure enough I did know what I was talking about. They do have a one year warranty on manufacturer defects (which I didn't know btw) which doesn't include user error which is 99% of the time the problem. Wrong size feeds and drains are considered user error. Turbonetics gives you a one year hassle free warranty PERIOD. We're a distributor for them and I've turned in many.
Here is a good scenario:
Blew up your motor and found metal shavings in your pan. Seeing that makes you a little concerned about the health of your turbocharger. With turbonetics you can send it in and they will inspect it *FREE* of charge and replace the bearings/seals. A GT distributor will tell you a new CHRA is $$$.$$. Ouch.
Now don't get me wrong, I think Garrett makes a damn good BB turbo but from my experience and I'm sure any other turbo shop can agree, they see nothing but DIY junk. Usually the most expensive piece on the turbo system is the turbocharger itself and they tend to mess that up from the initial start. How do you explain to your customer that they are idiots for trying to put a turbocharger on? A real warranty is just extra insurance in my opinion. Warranty is a little bit more important to me if your a DIYer.
Anyhow
