What bearings is everyone using for their high Hp Boost motors??
I was just curious what bearing everyone is running on their boost motors. We have used clevite and had great luck with them so far but i keep hearing about the ACL bearings. this is one of those things that if you have had good luck with something why switch, but i was just curious. what about honda bearings??

i dont make any power really..but acl's are in mine

im not making that much either but i use acl's and they plastiguaged perfectly, and they are real cheap

i like honda bearings. some hardcore v8 guys actually spin their cranks down to honda size, so they can run the honda bearing.

I use the ACL bearings as well. It's true if your having luck with one company why switch unless proven otherwise.

if you're honda color is green, yellow or brown, you can have a pretty good luck with ACL, since I think they made ACl to work within the middle color of the OEM bearing chart..
but honda OEM are kick *** as well....tony uses honda oem

I have waited so long as 3 months to put together a motor with OEM bearings. Thats how strong my faith is in them.

I will ONLY build a motor with honda bearings. Not that all others are bad, but they're not honda quality...

There has to be a reason why most Nascar motors have Honda bearings in them.
The surface (when magnified) has adjoined pyramids in which oil molecules ride in between and act as a ball bearing-type surface.

OEM bearings here. I dont trust anything but honda bearings. I like to retain as much OEM factory equipment that works in turbo applications, you are guarenteed quality and reliablility.

im rebuilding my motor this spring........its a 2000 with 40,000 miles on it. while i have it apart, should i replace the bearings with a new set of OEMs, or are mine still good to go?

I got my motor rebuilt and i had them put oem's in for my boosting habits.
