Default Were can i buy a good filter/clamp for turbo?

My shitty auto zone filter wont stay on the supercharger blower inlet. I know its from auto zone! but it wont stay on! it keeps blowing off, the whole filter design sucks, and i have the better style clamp with the lock nut but the stud stripped. So i was thinking about a k and n filter but they come with that shitty flat head screw clamp. I know they dont work good from past experience. And i don't want a mesh screen filter do to its my daily driver and i worrie about dust getting in.
Whats a good filter to go with that as a good clamp with it?

My blower sounds real loud when above 4k rpm shifting! and im scared cause theres no filter. Sounds like a big *** blow off valve.

^^ You beat me to it. Nothing wrong with a T-bolt clamp on a 4 inch filter from K&N.

K&N are going to be the only company with a filter that will work for you..
And they make some of the best air filters. They make a filter that is basically flat so it's very low profile, if I remember right they make 1 that has a centered inlet and 1 that has an offset inlet. When I get a chance I will look for their catalog for them.

Thanks bro! yea i think its not so much the clamp being the issue, inspection of the auto zone filter shows a taper of some sort or not a true 100mm or 4''' flat inlet. So i think the k and n should be good. But the auto zone filter held up at 6psi untill i raised the boost now the filter cant hold the pressure!

Well, that's what happens to the A-1 private label from auto zone. (And I use that term loosely)

This doesn't make sense. Your filter shouldn't see any pressure at all. We are talking about a standard filter that's on the inlet side of the turbo right?

Yes but this is on a super charger blower but pretty much a belt driven turbo.
I asked Pro charger if its normal to have blow by out the blower and they said its prolly the air surging since im making more boost now and i should locate the b.o.v closer to the blower or the hot side of the intercooler.

update: found out the b.o.v was not opening, So i replaced the lil filter on boost line and it works now! guess it was so dirty it was cloged or something, but i also relocated the bov closer to the blower on the hot side so i guess it should help. just got to get my filter on and see how it goes.

Still has compressor surge, gonna try and use a tial 50mm bov with a 2psi spring for supercharger aplication and see if that fixes it.
