went to the dyno made 326 hp & 233 ft tq...what do you guys think
like i said i went to the dyno last friday and dyno my car w/ hondata s200 w/ boost..1 made probably 15 pull...we didnt really did much adjustment...all we was trying to do was get it up to 24 lb and then mess w/ it some more.... i made
270 hp @ 10lb
326 hp @ 18 lb & 233 ft tq w/ a 7.5 lb flywheel(it sucks)
i was gonna push it up to 24 lb but the cheap $10 ebay boost controller **** up on me...it **** up on me on the time that i need it the most...so i probably gonna have to find another mbc...turbo xs single or dual stage....i dont know how to post the dyno chart but sorry....i wanna know if my numbers sounds good....my set-up is
built b18c1
iron sleeve,.20 over
ross pistons w/ moly rings
eagle rods
street port & polshish head w/ 3 angle valve job
stock gsr cams/valve train
jg eldelbrock int manifold w/ stock throttle body
sc61 turbo
inline pro manifold w/ 38 mm wastegate
3" dp
2.5 intercooler pipe w/ hks ssq blow-off
spearco bar & plate intercooler 35"x10"x3"
etc...i know i need to work on it some more but that is what i got for now....i mean i need like a 65mm throttle body, msd, itr cams & other bull ****...

what's wrong with a 7.5lb flywheel? revs drop too fast? maybe i'll stick to my stock gsr flywheel and resurface it? what do you recommend?

looking at the numbers I thought it was a D-series
Those are low numbers for a b18c with a sc61

I agree you should have made more. I made 320whp with 222ft/lbs on 9psi!!! I also have a 100% stock block and head.

Why spend all that money for a built turbocharged motor, but cheap out on a boost controller? I do agree with the others, those numbers seem low for what the motor has.

it wasn't an excuse...one of the h-t member asked if i liked the 7.5 lb flywheel...im pretty sure that i could gain alittle bit more tq...thats all....i didn't use it as my excuse...but im pretty sure if i put in the itr cams & all the other b/s,ill be breakin the 400 hp mark...this is the first time the car & motor has been to the dyno...and we gave up on tuning it...all mark did was playin w/ the air/fuel and some other ****...he'd havn't play w/ alot...so in acouple of month ill be goin back to the dyno & he'll push it little more...yes, i was disapointed in my car,but i gave up on it because we was goin to tune it @ 24lb...

yes,i do agree w/ you bout the cheap mbc...it was on of my old one...it was workin the night before....thats why id used it @ the dyno....havn't order me a good one yet...
well, hopfully my next visit to the dyno, ill be in the 400+hp range

The lightened flywheel wont hurt the power, i have never seen or heard anybody complain about loosing power from lightened flywheel. Also i seen cars make that power at 9psi and itr cams wont give you 100whp all of a sudden. Its not about just dumping the boost into the car to make the power for poor tune. If i were you i'd recheck the compression on that motor because seriouslly you should have made alot more power then that.

i made about 342 @ 18psi....at 6000 rpm on an sc61, of course, every motor is different, and when i was stock i made 336@ 10psi on the same sc61.

I made 309whp 242wtq with a 18G at 17psi so something is very wrong with your set up

Am I the only one who caught that? So you guys didn't really touch ignition timing? That's where like 75% of your power comes from....tuning ignition timing. Adjusting AF ratio helps a little, but if you didn't actually tune for ignition timing then what's the point. What was your timing at for 18PSI?

i love it! to all you greddy haters!!!
i also agree that you should be making more and that not tning your ignition is most likly the problem! so go back and get it tuned!!

Agreed...that motor will love some timing...I know mine did..
There is definatly something up...
I know my motor on a sc34 equivilent made 330whp on 15lbs....
Stock bore, Stock sleeves, stock intake manifold, stock throttle body....
b16a2....
So that 1.8 should be doing well.....
Take it to a better tuner...
/edit:
I just noticed you have a Edle IM....that is a good 30-40whp...
Without that, you wouldn't even be breaking the 300whp....you need to look into your setup bro..
Best of luck...

i made 355whp, 245wlbs @ 13psi on a t3/t4 60 trim, which is smaller than your turbo. your tune is way off, any way to post a dyno graph. If you were running like 10psi, i would say those numbers would be ok, but for the build up you have, you shoudl be well at 400whp.

Nothing to get to worried about just means you have some things to adjust; though you should post your dyno graph (w/ the a/f ratios) on here there are plenty of people that could give you better opinions based on that. Based on your setup which seems very similiar to mine I just run a SC44, as soon as you work out the kinks you should be making the sick power that everyone else does with the setup you have.
Also what type of fuel were you running? What size injectors r u running? Also what comp. r u running?
