Well ****....99% sure I blew my head gasket...=(
I'm perplexed...
Well I decided to make a short peice of pipe to connect the rest of my charge piping since I won't have my intercooler for at least another week. I set my Tial to just the spring pressure 5psi.
I start her up...and see this water dripping from the DP...I think "ahhh thats probubly just condensation cause the car's been sitting so long". After a minute or so the water stoped and I thought I was fine. I smelled it, and to me it had a slight sweet smell but not as punjent as coolant so I decided I was fine. The engine sounds fine, and nothing was of a consern.
After it was fully warmed up, I took it on the road for it's first run with boost in a year...
I hit 3psi in second gear (pulled ******* hard as hell for 3psi!) and shut down for the red light ahead. As I slowed down I smelled a super strong odor of coolant, so I went straight home without boosting.
First thing I noticed was that my WG bolts came loose already... ...But I was so determined to find out what the coolant smell was that I took off the oil cap to find a "kaluha brown" film all over it...I also pulled the dip stick, to find the same color all over it.
So really, I am pretty sure it was blown even before I took it out, but what's driving me crazy is that the coolant I took out when I started the install was FINE.....??????????
****....and of course this is a DAY after I learned that cometic stoped making the ZC head gasket...
If it truly is my H/G, my only options are the stock POS paper/carbon, or the HKS ($175)....
Any info would be great.

get your hands on a compression tester, then try oil dye and a black light (to check for external leaks so small not visible by the eye yet), however if you find oil in the coolant or coolant in the oil most likely that is your problem, also not to burst your bubble or anything, could possible be a warped head allowing coolant to leak out of the passages into the combustion chamber and crank case, also check with inlinepro.com, they make awesome headgaskets, some of best in the business, normally they tend to stick only with b-series, however you may be able to convince stan to help you out. good luck

My freind is coming over on Friday, and were going to check.
We did a compression test on the motor before the install and got #'s of...
170, 175, 170, 170
Were going to fill the cylinders with air and see if we get any bubbles in the coolant. I'm really hoping that the head isn't warped....

Update:
I drained the oil, and it looks exactly like "kaluha". I also pulled the plugs and all 4 look extreemly clean.
I'm now in the process of pulling the head.

I'm just confused as hell! I don't see how the a head gasket could blow on start up.
I really have no idea when the gasket blew (or even if it is the gasket)....?

well I hope your right considering I've taken the head off already...

I didn't actually...I was so pissed that the car showed signs of being broken after 6 months of working on it, that I just had to tear it down and see what it was.
