Well, I don't think I'll be at the track this season.
Car has been running about two weeks with the new engine...
Long story short, I had to swerve to keep from hitting someone after a bunch of people came to a dead stop unexpectedly, tried to turn into a parking lot going about 40 mph or so but the car decided to go straight and ram a curb instead.
Guess I need better brakes and new tires...

Thanks for all the encouragement guys. I was actually thinking about buying another hatch and swapping everything over, but I just don't have the money. I looked at it and it's not *that* bad. I think the radiator might be dead but that's no big deal, and I can live without A/C for a year....I guess
You local guys let me know if you have hook ups on stuff too or if you can do body work. I'd be happy to pay you instead of some Earl Scheib wannabe. I'm trying to figure out how much of this I can do myself. The frame seems fine except for the radiator support area. I'll probably have to go without pain for a while though

What kind of curb did you hit? Surprised you didnt just jump the curb and roll over it.
