Default weird misfire and over heat in high rpm

rebuilt a z6. built for boost oem honda headgasket arp headstuds torqued to 80lbs. at about 15psi, 5000rpm and up it gets a misfire real bad i thought it got lean but thats not it, and it over heats only when its in high rpm i can boost it in low rpm and its fine. i changed the rad seems to of made it a little better and i took the thermo stat out and it stilll over heats....change distributor with one i knew worked.....so is the over heating cause to misfire or misfire cause to over heat??? im using s300 aem wideband have ngk plugs the colder ones i forgot the number i guess they quit making..gapped to .28
help please??

you never take the thermostat out of a vehicle as it will only increase over heating. what are you running for coolant? What are you using for a tuning system and has it been tuned yet? Are you using a stock ignition system?

im going to put the thermostat back in. i had straight water everyone said thatll run cooler im gonna put some 50/50 in it. i just bought a brand new accel coil. hadnt tried it yet then im gonna call around for new plugs and try like a .19 gap. could it have something to do with this...when i sync the distributor to hondata and lock the timing at 16 in the computer...i almost have to turn the dizzy the whole way to the fire wall? every car i had was like that. and i got rid of the heat for wire tuck and connected those 2 hoses together..and no iacv and have those hoses running from engine to FITV back to engine. also i lifted the back of my hood i heard that makes it run hot
