Water Meth tank bubbling under boost leak test???
I have an AEM Water-Meth kit installed and did a boost leak test today for the first time AFTER installing the kit and I noticed my water-meth tank is bubbling while doing the leak test??!! WTF!!! I thought the spray nozzle had a ONE WAY valve in it???
Anyone else experience this??

LOL - not yet my son.... not yet...
See that's what confuses me - I got the latest version of this kit and apparently there is a one way valve built in the spray nozzle ... must be an issue with it I guess ... brand new kit ummm yeah....

I run the devils Own kit. Not sure how AEMs nozzles work but maybe this could help you? Not sure but its the valve I use. http://www.alcohol-injection.com/check-valve-64.html Again not sure if it can help as I dont know what size and type of lines AEM uses.

frogg I just realised that it only starts to bubble in the tank when I turn my boost leak tester up to 15 or more psi so now you got me wondering if it is actually working cos maybe the "crack open pressure" is 15 psi ... but then I am wondering so does it mean if I run over 15 psi boost, the sprayer nozzle "fights" with the boost to keep the spray in a forward direction or what?? Damn this is confusing now lol.

check valve could be bad, but i would assume that would be normal honestly, the valve is supposed to keep fluid from the pump, up to the valve, not in the reverse direction, so your forcing positive pressure back up through the nozzle past the valve, and into the tank.

I still am learning about the systems, but 15psi cracking pressure may be correct. However, I know my pump is 250 psi so you would have to be running way to much boost to fight against that high psi at the pump which would never happen
