Water cooled turbo VS oil ??

Water cooled turbo VS oil ??
Can someone tell me the difference? I am looking to get the most robust/dependible turbo system - would water be safer than oil for the turbo?
Any power difference?
Thanks!

Nver heard of an oil cooled turbo. The oil is there any way, cause it lubricate the turbo. I´ve mine watercooled and I´m using an 17row oil cooler with thermostat. The coolant temp is limited to 70 degrees Celsius via an Jackson Racing Thermostat.

The Turbonetics turbo which comes with the DRAG III kit is prepared for watercooling. Only thing to do is to get a fitting for the water hose at a local store and hook up a water line.
The engine oil is getting hoter now, cause the turbo spinns vey fast. Therefore I mounted an oil cooler.
