water cooled turbo
hey guys i was hoping someone could explain to me the pro's and con's of water cooled turbo vs. air cooled.
i was gonna buy a garret t3 off an old volvo but its water cooled and i know nothing about water cooled turbos. my setup is a 90 crx si with d16 im looking for mild performance ( 200 hp)
should i get the water cooled turbo or use my rx7 t3 turbo?

Re: water cooled turbo (90Rexx)
Air cooled turbo...wtf are you talking about
Are you talking about air to air intercoolers compared to liquid to air intercoolers?
Or are you talking about turbos that are cooled by coolant like ballbearing turbos compared to oil cooled turbos?
You need to be more specific...if i wasnt such a nice guy i would have answered this a lot differently
