Default Wastegate spring dilema

Right now I have a 8.7psi spring in my tial 38 wastegate. Last year I ran 18psi and it was fine. This year I plan on running closer to 25psi. I am using the GM boost control solenoid with the AEM EMS so that I can have staged boost control. I want to be able to run 10psi in low gears and 25psi in high gears.

Ive read that you shouldn't go too far past doubling the wastegate springs rating though. However, I cant run lower than the wastegate spring. What do I do?

Default

get a bigger spring and run around 12 psi of the wastegate then you can turn it to 25 and not worry as much
