wastegate hood clearance
ok here goes....just finished my turbo install and everything is good except for the simple fact that i cant close my hood all the way b/c the damn wastegate is preventing it from closing. i cut the skeleton from the under belly of the hood but its still not closing all the way.
so, my question is, what is the cheapest most efficient way to make this work?? i've heard of some people mentioning this thing called a 'gooseneck' but im not sure where to get one, how much $ it is, and if it sacrifices proformance, etc.
please help...any/all suggestions very much appreciated

Re: wastegate hood clearance (2000GSRT)
Take the top pressure fitting off. It was the difference between my hood not closing and closing.
Good luck.
