wastegate dump tube fell off..do i really need?
My dump tube fell off...and now the wastegate vents directly where the engine mount is (see red arrow)...the mount is covered by a layer of metal, all covered in exhaust soot now.
Will the mount turn into Jello? should I have another dump tube fabricated?

I didnt run a dump tube for the first couple hundred miles. Just open wastegate. It melted a few fins on my radiator. I would suggest getting another dump tube. I think ben at import parts will sell you one from a drag kit. Top shelf quality!

When you have really stiff mounts and over 700 flywheel horsepower, things seem to rattle themselves off

Ya I'd definately get another. My downpipe cracked and I ran open turbo and the turbo is aimed down and my engine bay still got all sooted up. What once was shinny now is dull
