Wants to build and turbo my d16z6
I recently just had my automatic 95 ex coupe converted to manual now my plans are to build the bottom end with the FJT build kit for 600$ and piece a turbo kit for a limit around 1500$ i hope. Ive read for a while and using the FJT kit can boost pretty high and into the 400hp range or more but my GOAL is to hit 300hp and maybe leave some room for more power down the road.
If anyone was interested lol here she is:
My question is i need help on what turbo parts i need to retrieve in order to have it running fine and to reach my goal for around 1500$ i hope. Then i was wondering what extra things to get like clutch flywheel stuff. (just recently got a job again lol plus school is starting)
Please and thank you

Re: Wants to build and turbo my d16z6
Hey dude, I personally would have spent some money on getting a b swap in there, an ls block w/ a manuel tranny would have been fine, fairly inexpensive too. But if d-series is what you want then so be it. Check out the honda tech market place for parts and a possible kit. There is certain turbo related things you can get off ebay, like a walbro fuel pump etc. But stay away from the ebay turbo kits, you have to spend somewhat big bucks to do it right. (most likey over 1500$ w/ tuning and all)

Thanks guys but i was leaning towards buying all new parts i guess i can expect to pay more for the tune and etc parts. I just want to know if i can piece a turbo together and build the bottom end to reach my goal.
