Default Wanted to share some pics of XS Power Top Mount Turbo Kit

We're putting this kit on a customers freshly rebuilt B18C1 in an EG chassis. Thought we'd share some pics. As a baseline, the car dyno'd at 153whp on our DynoJet. We'll keep you guys posted to the progress. Enjoy the pics!

Below are pics of the XS Power top mount manifold and his turbo. Not sure on the turbo specs, I'll report back on those later.

At least it looks like they paired the right runners.

The whole WG placement blows my mind though.

The manifold does not fit well. The block has to be shaved, and the location of the wastegate and the downpipe makes this "A/C Compatiable" kit non A/C compatiable.

Only a stock single core radiator will work, and the radiator fan has to be a pusher rather than a puller. With the size of the FMIC, and the radiator fan being a puller, we warned the customer of possible overheating issues.

The radiator hoses also will not work as the turbo sits right in front of the radiator inlet.

The oil return line does not make me feel comfortable either. It will have to be flat for a good portion of it's length, and we do not recommend this.

The wastegate flange does not match with the flange from the manifold.

We have advised the customer to get a different manifold. If he decides to keep this one, we will have to do a lot of custom fabrication to get everything to work for his street car. If it was a race car it would be a different story.

We do not recommend this kit.

No doubt, sounds like the customer is going to spend a lot of money to have you guys do the fab work to get this manifold to work properly. It would probably be cheaper for him to start out with a little more expensive manifold that wouldn't require so much modification.

We've advised him to get a different manifold... but the customer likes the "bling" factor, so it's up to him. He does seem to be leaning toward getting a different manifold, and selling this one, so we'll keep you guys posted on his car's progress.
