Default want your opinion on this turbo

A buddy of mine is selling a GT32 turbo. It's a 60 trim and 70 a/r. I originally planned on going with the precision sc34 .63 a/r, but he's selling the gt32 for much more cheaper brand new. My initial goals are 270whp-300whp.

My setup will be
ebay intercooler and pipings
tial 38mm wastegate
hks ssqv ver.2 bov
ugr cast iron manifold
precision 525cc injectors
walbro 255 fuel pump

and most likely tuned on crome. This will be on a 94 GSR.

So which turbo will be better for me? This will be on a daily driven car. Thanks in advance.

well, they will make 300whp, but not much past that. always nice to have a little cushion.

The originals always did have that weird 6 bolt hole system.

which sucks because I'll have to get the flange and weld it onto my downpipe. But what's your honest opinion on this? Should I get this over the sc34?

I've used those GT32 based turbos for years, and I love them. Its all in what you're trying to do. They are a bit pushed for the 350-400whp mark, really. I've found that they are Fantastic for the LS for a street car. I have the GT3255 and GT3251 variants. The GT3255 has a bit more PUNCH to it than the one you have, and comes in a 4 bolt housing. For about the same money for a retailed SC34, you can get the GT3255. I believe Schisterr66 is still running one. You've got PM with his information on his setup.
