want to turbo my eg civic - b18c
Hi Hondatech!
I have honda civic eg with following engine mods-
B18C2 converstion (vtir <aust> )
- B18C Block with extra Holding pin add on (as the block guard)
- Crankshaft Type R
- Con Rod Type R
- Piston Civic Type R (Jap Spec) Oversize
- B16A Cylinder head port and polish
- Integra Type R camshaft
- Integra Type R intake manifold
- Upgrade valve springs - type r
- JG cam gear
- Hondata S200 ECU
Gearbox:
- Integra Type R 5Speed
- Lightweight Flywheel balanced.
- Daikin Exedy heavy duty Racing (SKO) clutch
Exhausts system:
- Vision cat back b-pipe and muffler (60.5)
- Highflow cat
- JDM Integra Mugen replicas 4>1 Extractors.
Cooling System:
- Integra Type R Radiator + Condensor upgrade
I have a turbo kit which i would like to bolt on. (AVO manifold, GT28r turbo, cooler + piping, 550cc RC injectors, fuel pump, dump pipe, fuel pressur reg, bov,)
my compression ratio is in the mid 12s becuase of my pistons......can i
still run my setup with low boost and a good tune?..
will a thicker head gasket & head studs help?
i'm still learning new things everyday..sorry if i sound newbie.
