Default Wanna build my 99-00 b16a2 for turbo need help...?

I want to build a motor that can be daily driven with enough horsepower so that I can go to the drag.....I dont' want to go over 9 psi cause i know that is not safe for a daily driver...I have a shaved head about .010 and I want to lower my compression for turbo. Any good ideas for head gaskets??

Well, do you want to build the motor or do you want to change the head gasket?

And psi has 0 relevance for daily driven reliability. It's all about build, tune, turbo size, and wheel horsepower.

You need to be more specific about your goals because you can go drag racing with a goped, you just won't be very fast. What are you wanting to accomplish and are you wanting to do it on stock internals or if you are wanting to put in forged internals.

Your head being shaved .001 of an inch will have little affect on your compression. Your compression now is like 10.3-10.4 if your lucky and that is still ok with conservative tune in a boosted Type R's run over ten punds of boost fine so just put the turbo on and spend the money on the tune after the install. Drive below 3-4k rpm to the dyno and spend the 100+ you would have spent on the head gasket and spend it on the tune and engine management system. That should get you to where you want to be reliably and cheaper then spending money where you dont need to. My 2 cents

well these are all my modifications,
I have skunk2 intake manifold, 68mm t/b
aem ems
the drag turbo kit from dragkits
got the missing link (do I still need that with the aem ems?)
3" cat and cat back exhaust and downpipe
spearco intercooler
je pistons
crower rods
bdl industries block guard
msd ignition and ss blaster coil

what would my safest bet be for fuel injectors? (how many cc's?)
