yes u could achieve 500 with it fine probably. There are probably many other threads about this, i know i can remember it being covered other times also. In those people have said they made 600 with that pump.

some say 550 is the ceiling, some say you can squeak out 600. if i remember i was around 82-85% duty? maybe a little more last year 540whp with a walbro -6 lines from the filter and 1200's. 52 psi base i think. hell it has been so long he hee.

ive seen a few 600whp B-series on here with 1000's stock lines and the walbro..
im currently at 500whp with walbro, stock lines and the 1000's... im goin for more, so ill tell you...
its no set number, it depends on the setup i guess

Best thing to do with maxing the pump is to not let the pressure increase much. IIRC its something like 60psi where you actually lose overall flow, based on flow vs pressure. Higher pressures can also burn the pump out faster, and a fump failure = motor failure when over 500whp...

all the people who are running these pumps i have two questions
1. dont most fuel injectors get burnt out at over 55psi ?
2. what's your duty cycle when making 500whp an more ?
i've been wanting to get one of these but i've never used them on a honda. i've always seen the A1000 to be better

Re: walbro pump max horse? (agrn93ls)
The limit was right at 500 hp w/ a B18c on our Dyno Dynamics (550+ dynojet) at 13.5 volts measured at the pump with the car running.
If you need just a little more you can always wire the pump direct to the alternator with a relay. Voltage has a lot to do with fuel flow with fuel pumps, more voltage means more fuel pressure. You'll know when your at the end of your pump or lines when fuel pressure starts to drop at high RPM/boost.
... Remember, max HP with a fuel pump also depends on the BSFC of your engine.(how thirsty your engine is per ft./lb of tq.)
