Walbro 255 HP and 880cc Injectors
What do you guys think of this fuel setup? Walbro 255 HP pump, Aeromotive regulator, Delphi 880cc injectors, stock lines and filter on Hondata. I'm shooting for around 450 hp to the wheels. Do you think the Walbro can support the 880s?

probably. has worked with 760's in the past making probably 500-550 hp to the wheels with a walbro and stock lines. 880's will be overkill for only 450 hp. easily supports 550 to the wheels safely.

I've got the same setup, easy support for 450hp.

I'm running the walbro hp, high vol intank w/ stock lines and 86lb injectors. I finally got it to idle, but it runs pig rich under boost, I'll let you know when I hit the dyno.

Jinxproof99 - I know its a lil overkill but I just don't want to buy anther set of injectors. I went from 310s to 550s and know 880s.
Sinitron - I have the GSS341.
Jared - What type of engine management are you using?
Anyone else??? tony1, boosted hybrid, VaporTrail???

the walbro will hold up with them , i am going 880's or maybe bigger too becuase i dotn wanna swap out again next time i get this pipe dream to make nother 200+ whp 
. if you have like hondata youll be fine you can tune em down .
on 550's though you can get into the 400's, just gotta jack up the fuel pressure a bit . i think mine were at somewhere in the area of %60 duty cycle at about 300 whp with the rpessure at 38 psi

I have a formula that will calculated the Injector sizing you'll need for specific target of HP, Lemme find it and I'll post it.

some say they get iffy once you start hitting high 400's and getting into some serious hp
there are some guys on here making serious power though on stock lines.

as far as i know, jason hunt went 9.80's i think on the stock crx fuel lines. anyone confirm, possibly jason himself?

For example: Target hp: 500
BSFC: .5
500 X .5 = 250
250/4(# of injectors)=62.5
62.5 + 20% of 62.5(safely margin) = 75
75 X 10.5 = 787.5cc injectors

FWIW I'm running 780cc injectors, Walbro 255 (standard, not High pressure), stock FPR, all stock fuel lines and my car idles pretty darn good. It's street tuned, so I'm not sure how many ponies she's putting down yet.
Oh yeah, I'm running 17psi on a slightly built b18C5.
