Not to thread jack... but what is the general consensus on the power constraints of an Aeromotive 340 with ID1000's? Assuming the fuel lines are unaltered...

No. Im getting my car tuned this weekend with 1000cc and a single 255 and i talked to my Tuner (Curt at Dynotuned Performance) and he said with a relay hooked up to the fuel pump, fuel will be consistant up to around 530-540 without leaning out. Curt was the one that tuned the car in the Video above. Hes the ****, knows what hes doing, makes the best power, and does stuff right. DTP ftmfw!! After i get mine tuned on Sunday i will fill in with results.

Guys, check out Evans tuning for Dyno logs and they also give descriptions of the setups so you can get an idea what you can make out of your setup.

so far the car has made 467@17psi (shawty22's car) with 1000cc pte injectors and a 255.

dyno graphs will be soon making over 500hp with these parts and e85.

No you can't make 550whp on a single 255 and 1200's. Maybe a single 400 and 1600's

Thanks guys. Im really happy with it. Before we got those numbers, my tuner turned the boost up to 22psi and it 520@ 7500rpm but it started to lean out. So we turned the base pressure up a tad and turned the boost down to 20psi and got the 510. More power has been made with a 255 but mine wasnt having it. But what can i complain about, the car isnt very slow.

i have a buddy that just dynoed his 99 integra gsr and made 510whp running on e85. he loves it and has never had any problems. the only downfall to running it is burning through a tank of gas so quick.

with dual pump fullblownmotorsport walbro intanks will the stock fuel pressure regulator diaphragm not be able to handle the pressure?

This is a friends car that was tuned on 1000ccRC injectors -6 line full voltage to a single 255. leaning out up top but it didnt pop a motor.

dyno graph is in the video. 580hp

very nice seen this video before on youtube, just wondering if you can use the stock fuel pressure regulator with the dual intank fuel pump setups

Actually...you can make 560whp with a single 255 and 1000cc injectors on e85.

yah i was making 653 2 years ago on rc1000's and e85@28psi base was 80psi, and the injectors were maxed out. those injectors had 3 years of wear and tear on them, and are still alive to date.

pump was a aero a1000 though lol

injectors are legit for the power

What is the duty cycle looking like at the top end of that pull? Have you tested the fuel that you are using?

That is why I am asking. Our pump E85 isn't E85 currently here in Iowa. It is E70. I found out I was tuned on E70. Would explain why I am seeing a pretty low DC for the power level I am at.

To be completely honest, i have no idea. We have never tested it. I just put the fuel in my car and rip around. Im sure the duty cycle is up there, we couldnt go any higher really without it leaning out. The pump and injectors maxed out about the exact same time. But Curt at dynotuned knows what hes doing. shawty22: do you know what your base fuel pressure was at while tuning?
