YCP is the better piston.
Nippon pistons (or any other brand that are not YCP) are not made of the same strength and materials.. Actually YCP is semi forged + have coating...Nippons dont
Nippon pistons will fail much sooner..
Only they YCP Pistons have been able to produce 471whp (Check Speedsfactory EG or memner JFK78) on D16 engines.
I have yet to see a Nippon vitara piston even go above 350-375 whp...
